Job Description: Assists the CFO with financial reporting for all entities

  • As directed by the CFO, prepares analysis and specialized financial reports for all entities.
  • Become familiar with Syteline and work with IT department to develop interfaces and reporting directly from the ERP data base.
  • Develop and maintain weekly and monthly reporting packages.

Assists the CFO in monthly account and forecast analysis

  • Updates detail supporting financial spreadsheets for each company and location for actual results
  • Updates and prepares supporting forecast analysis as requested by the CFO.
  • Prepares periodic account analysis as directed by the CFO.
  • Assists the CFO with financial and other requests

Assists CFO in project reporting and profit forecasting

  • Attends project reporting meetings and updates tracking sheets weekly.
  • Works with A/R department to make sure project billing and collections are up to date.
  • Develop key indicators and reporting metrics for all projects.
  • Work with CFO to develop project profitability forecasts.
  • Maintain cash flow analysis for projects.

Assists CFO in financial account analysis

  • Provide account reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts
  • Assist CFO in calculation of reserves and allowances
  • Maintain summary detail for key expense and revenue accounts.
  • Develop trend analysis metrics for all key accounts.
  • Perform benchmarking studies for key accounts
  • Maintain summary of commission expense both external and internal.

Assists in maintaining Company internal control policies and procedures

  • Assists the CFO in reviewing and completing internal control reviews and questionnaires
  • Maintains Company process flow flowcharts
  • Assists in the review, update, development and documentation of written accounting and financial procedures and polices
  • Assists the CFO in documenting the monthly reporting process

Other Responsibilities

  • Assists in the annual and mid-year financial audits as required.
  • Makes site visits to other Company locations as necessary
  • Assists the CFO in M & A activities
  • Performs accounting, tax and GAAP research as requested
  • Other financial or accounting duties and projects as requested by the CFO.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors’ degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university with a minimum of three to five years accounting/finance experience and/or training; Experienced in:

– financial reporting

– cost and inventory accounting

– Budget preparation/development

– finance/accounting strategies

– financial spreadsheets

-financial analysis

-state and federal taxes

– data base inquiry writing

– ERP systems

– percentage of completion accounting

– manufacturing environment
