  • Receive, stock, retrieve, and ship items in inventory.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (BEE) from four-year college or university; or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional necessary training (courses, seminars) would include:

–  Communications

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Must possess capacity and skill for handling stressful situations during machine start-up.
  • Handling portable computers is a physical demand of this job.

General Laborer – pit clean out

Machinist II Jig Grind

Job Description: Machinist II Jig Grind

 

Position will setup and operate jig grinder as well as all tool room equipment.

  • Operate both CNC and conventional machine tools.
  • Perform set up and operation duties to jig grind highly precision tooling components.
  • Read and interpret complex part and assembly prints.
  • Establish correct relationships between interrelated dimensions and radii and maintain extremely close tolerances.
  • Grind complicated tooling, die sections, multi stage trim tools, punches and gauges.
  • Fit and assemble fixture and tool sections.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on Jig Grinder.
  • Prepare set-ups and perform machining and/or assembly operations.
  • Inspect machined parts using precision inspection instruments and gauges.
  • Improvise temporary fixtures in order to perform the machinery and/or assembly operations.
Minimum Qualifications: Qualification:

  • Three (3) years’ experience operating a CNC ID/OD Grinder and/or operating a CNC mill and/or lathe machines.
  • Ability to make edits and adjustments to programs.
  • Knowledge of the theory behind material cutting and removal.
  • Ability to understand machine utilization and NC/CNC controls.
  • Have a working knowledge of geometric prints and specification sheets
  • One (1) year of blueprint reading, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
  • Three (3) years of experience with using precision inspection instruments and gauges.
  • Strong mathematical and numerical skills including geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to edit programs.
  • Knowledge of general hand tool practices.
  • Experience using a computer.
  • Ability to design setups preferred.
  • Ability to design temporary and permanent fixtures including for special one-of-a-kind projects is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of CAD/CAM programming preferred.
  • Experience with setup and operation of conventional machines is preferred.
  • Must be able to work overtime if needed.

Off shift (most likely midnight shift) – possibility of training on days.

Pay – $18 – $20 (possibility of more $$, based on experience).
